Burbillies

The Burbillies have taken the greatest hits of the 1980's and transformed them into hard hitting bluegrass compositions.

Established in late 2011, The Burbillies are a 7-piece bluegrass tribute to 80’s hair metal. That’s right, they have a traditional bluegrass lineup and play al...l of your favorite butt-rock hits from the 1980’s. Beneath their big hair, bitching clothes, and bad attitudes lies a group of rippin’ flat pickers who are never afraid to take it to the next level. Their high-energy compositions are performed with just the right amount of Minnesota twang, creating a genre all-their-own called “Ass Grass.”

Comedy Night with Geoff Lafluer & Dave Landau

Geoff LaFleur comes to us from the great state of Wisconsin. He resides in a suburb just outside of Milwaukee and his mother says he has “poor posture.”

Geoff pokes fun at life’s most mundane situations to the awkwardness of sexuality and everything in between. Delivered in a playfully silly nature and energetically fun style, mixed with impeccable comedic timing and a Midwestern charm has made Geoff a comedy club favorite.

He has performed at colleges, festivals, private parties and many top comedy clubs across the country from the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles to Zanies in Chicago to the Improv in Washington D.C. As well as being the opening act for Dave Chappelle, Larry the Cable Guy, Brian Regan, Pauly Shore, Jay Mohr, Gilbert Gottfried, Bobcat Goldthwaite,  and many more…

You can catch Geoff in Pauly Shore’s 2014 documentary on Showtime called, Pauly Shore Stands Alone…to see if Geoff really does have “poor posture.”

Cutting his comedic teeth as a teenager in Detroit in the Second City’s Conservatory, Dave Landau has risen to become one of the most in-demand headliners working today. He’s appeared on Comedy Central’s “Live At Gotham” as well as being featured on two consecutive seasons of the AXS.TV version “Gotham Comedy Live.” He’s been a semi-finalist twice on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” is a regular on the nationally-syndicated “Bob & Tom” radio show, and was honored as one of the top 21 club comics of today at HBO’s Las Vegas Comedy Festival.

The Cool Waters Band, Freek Bass & Alex Rossi

The Cool Waters Band is Good Time Rock and Roots at its finest – high-energy, dynamic, intense, inviting, feel-good music. Based out of the hard-working Fox Cities of Wisconsin (Appleton, Oshkosh, Green Bay), CWB has changed the way live original music is listened to and appreciated throughout the region. With an extremely dedicated fan base throughout the Midwest, Cool Waters is making powerful statements on their own terms, in their own unique way.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, OH, Freekbass was an only child who initially wanted to be a magician. He later developed his own obsession for cartoon superheroes and comic books, relating to the underlying themes.

Living in Cincinnati exposed Freekbass to genres of music he may have missed otherwise. While most kids were listening to Nirvana and Green Day, he connected with the bottom-heavy sounds coming out of the boom boxes like Zapp and Midnight Star. While working in a music shop to pay off his first electric bass he had in lay-away, he began to study the classics of Larry Graham, Sly Stone, Stevie Wonder, Parliament and Bootsy with a bass in one hand, and an MPC2000 in the other.

Horseshoes and Handgrenades featuring Maxaphone, Anna Jo Banjo & Dig Deep

Horseshoes and Hand Grenades - While strongly rooted in bluegrass, old-time, and folk music, the band produces a sound that draws on the vaults of music collectively and individually enjoyed throughout the course of their lives thus far. The music doesn’t lend itself well to categories or boundaries. One could possibly be formed, but the boys seem to generally prefer fishing a river, or enjoying the company of friends and barley beers.

Dig Deep is a four-piece string band based out of Wisconsin that has in a very short time become a truly unique voice and a cornerstone of the thriving Midwest ...roots community. Through tireless full-time touring throughout the upper Midwest and across the country, the release of an acclaimed debut album, numerous high-profile festival and theater appearances, as well as the organizing of Indianhead Mountain's annual Mountain Top Festival, Dig Deep has earned love from fans, respect from musicians, and rapport with venues and events with their well-honed, hard-edged sound and their boisterous, dynamic performances.
